Gabrielle Mulholland (b. 1991 T'karonto / Toronto) She/They is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and musician. They are currently based between Tiohtià:ke (Montreal) and the North Eastern United States. Gabrielle’s work is informed by illustration, digital media, and community practice. With a BFA in Print Media Specialization from Concordia University, she creates work across media addressing traumatic memory and its impact on place and self.

As well, they are a longtime digital producer working in video and editorial. In addition to her past experience as a freelance contributor to Exclaim! Magazine, where she has published articles on Canadian hardcore punk music festivals, they have over ten years of experience in video and film production for commercial and fine arts projects. 

Their recent works includes serving as primary writer, co-producer, and art director on The Night This Place Freezes Over / La nuit du coup du froid, a Canada Council–funded bilingual immersive art game exploring grief and isolation, set in the independent music community in the depths of Montreal winter.

Under the moniker Pleaser, she produces free illustrated risograph zines and music to open decentralized dialogue on trauma and mental health reform. Gabrielle is a member of Montreal art centres Oboro, Topo, and Articule.
